Sexual Assault and Other Intentional Tort Claims Dismissed

DES MOINES, Iowa (March 28, 2025) – On May 20, 2021, a plaintiff filed sexual assault and battery, false imprisonment, and intentional infliction of emotional distress claims against a Firm client in Polk County, Iowa. Adam Zenor and Allyson Aden defended their client against those claims and engaged in comprehensive discovery relative to those claims, including depositions of the plaintiff, investigators, and medical professionals. Mr. Zenor and Ms. Aden then engaged in comprehensive motion practice, seeking complete dismissal of plaintiff’s claims on various legal grounds. 

On March 28, 2025, the Court granted relief sought in the motion practice and dismissed the plaintiff’s claims against the Firm’s client in their entirety.
