Dispositive Motion Granted in Defense of Iowa Employer

DES MOINES, Iowa (July 29, 2025) – The Firm secured dismissal for an Iowa employer defending against allegations of wrongful termination. On March 29, 2024, Plaintiff filed her Petition at Law, alleging that the Firm’s client wrongfully terminated her in violation of the public policy articulated in Iowa Code § 88.9(3)(a)(2). An Amended Petition was later filed, asserting the additional allegation that Plaintiff’s alleged termination also violated the public policy articulated in § 123.49(2)(a). Following Plaintiff’s deposition and comprehensive written discovery, Adam Zenor and Ryleigh Keeney filed a motion for summary judgment, seeking dismissal of all claims.

On July 29, 2025, the Court entered an Order granting the dispositive motion and dismissed all claims asserted against the Firm’s client.
