Zenor & LaBrie Secure Summary Judgment in a Complex Insurance Coverage Matter

DES MOINES, Iowa (October 23, 2020) – On January 20, 2020, plaintiffs sued Society Insurance alleging breach of insurance contract following a coverage denial. Adam Zenor and Derek LaBrie answered on behalf of Society Insurance and, after duly undertaken discovery, moved for summary judgment on plaintiffs’ claims. Plaintiffs resisted summary judgment as did a set of intervenors in the suit. After hearing on the Motion, the district court granted the Motion and dismissed plaintiffs’ claims entirely. No appeal was taken.
